There are two Feelies shows and I may do one, but that part of September is pretty booked.

    No Ölóf Arnalds? Shame. :(

Well, I expect that I’ll arrive at the Kria show early enough to be able to record Olof. If she agreees to be taped, then I will.

I just saw that her show is right on the 9th of September, right in Poison Rouge, 4 hours before Deerhunter’s show. She will be playing with Skuli Sverrisson, Laurie Anderson and Nico Muhly.

Well, there’s that too. I can’t possibly do both that and Deerhunter, who I’ve already spoke to, received permission, arranged with the venue, and bought a ticket.

Olof is on the bill with Kria on the 16th, that’s the performance that I may capture.

That would be extremely pleasing. Thanks!

Here’s hoping you made it to the Terry Karydes benefit at Maxwell’s (I don’ recall seeing anyone taping, but like I said, I can hope), it was a great show, the second set especially, a three-guitar attack of Ira Kaplan, Glenn Mercer, and Dave Schramm can be a wondrous thing to behold.

Sadly, no. I crashed on Friday night after a hell week, and never made it out to Hoboken. The worst part of it is that I never got a chance to tell the other potential taper, so the show was not captured. I felt a little better knowing that my ticket that I bought in advance did help the cause.

In other news, I did record Deerhunter’s amazing set last night and it will be up in a day or two. High Places from EVR Fest will go up tonight.
