We had a nice bit of recognition this week from some traditional media — the Village Voice covered our recording of The Mountain Goats show on March 27, and the Wall Street Journal online edition had a little blurb about nyctaper.com.

We also have permission to record the Dead Milkmen show at Warsaw on Friday April 16, and a free ticket to give away to any taper willing to catch the show for the site. I will be away and our correspondents are also unavailable that night so need a taper to cover the show.

No Andrew Bird at RCMH? Bummer. But maybe you just didn’t get permission.

Keep up the good work as always. I saw you (presumably) at the Mountain Goats/JV show and wanted to say hi but was downstairs.

Thanks so much for everything you do for us :)
