So its outdoor taping season, and our first expedition proved successful. However, there are always wind and rain issues that arise and we’ll certainly not make all of these events.

If you want nyctaper to record your band, a band you represent, a show you’re promoting, or even your favorite band in the world, get me on the list and make sure everyone who needs to approve of the recording gives permission. Also, remember I’m doing this all for free — the recordings, the post-production, the reviews, the links, etc. — so treat me fairly.

darn, why no more built to spill? and I could have sworn that I checked this page the other day and some of the Williamsburg Pool Party shows were listed too…

A lot of music business nonsense, basically. Absolutely nothing to do with the bands, who seem to always be the reasonable people in these situations.

I’m adding a bunch of stuff now too. I’ve already got a great show for that July 18 date that may lead to even more stuff.

that’s a shame, but oh well, worse things have happened. there’s a bunch of other great shows set to be taped anyway.
