Its time to finally shake off the CMJ hangover and get another schedule posted. The Winter season is usually a very fruitful period for the site, and this year is no exception. We’re happy to have Yo La Tengo’s shows at Maxwell’s back again — we’re covering at least five as of now.
[Below is the updated schedule. We expect to attend and record these events. However, circumstances will prevent some of these from being done, and others will be added in the meantime.]
If you want nyctaper to record your band, a band you represent, a show you’re promoting, or even your favorite band in the world, get me on the list and make sure everyone who needs to approve of the recording gives permission. Also, remember I’m doing this all for free — the recordings, the post-production, the reviews, the links, etc. — so treat me fairly.

Did you record the recent My Morning Jacket show(s) at Terminal 5?
Current 93 is playing Santos Party House sometime in March (date tba), and I’m sure it would make massive amounts of peoples’ days if there was a recording of it.
We were not permitted to record My Morning Jacket at T5 because these particular shows are being recorded for possible official release.
Santos Party House was closed down the other day.

Did you record the Yeah Yeah Yeahs at Secret Project Robot? You tweeted about it, but never posted the recording. I was really looking forward to hearing it!
Recorded the show, but it came out subpar due to a variety of issues. I never got approval to post any part of it, which was not surprising.
Any possibility of the GbV show at Irving Plaza(NOT Terminal 5)on December 31st being recorded?
Thanks,
Wade
GBV is “professionally” recording all of their tour and selling the shows here https://www.gbvdigital.com/album/list?max=20
The person they have doing it isn’t very good, but nonetheless, because they are selling them, we cannot record. It’s a shame.
How “Rock-n-Roll of GbV! I haven’t liked the way they’ve conducted this tour for a variety of reasons. Thanks for the reply.
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 28
at GLASSLANDS GALLERY in BROOKLYN
DARKER MY LOVE with the ACME STRING QUARTET
Looks pretty unique! Any Chance?
Can we hope for one of the Decemberists’ shows at the Beacon Theater (January 25-26)?
Thanks for everything you have done, and will be doing for we who love live music, and the artists who make it!

Hey, was wondering if you had ever taped any of Lost In The Trees shows or The Ghost Of A Saber Toothed Tiger?
Any way someone is taping the Stornoway show at the Bowery on December 2nd. I just saw them last night here in toronto and it was stellar, best show I’ve seen in a long time.
If anyone is on the fence about going to see them, don’t hesitate…
