I am floored by this particular award. PC Magazine has selected its Top 50 blogs of 2009 and NYCTaper has been recognized among that group. What makes this really special is that the group is not just music blogs, but all blogs on the web. PC Magazine is arguably the most influential publication ever to cover computers, having existed since 1982.

PC magazine is my favorite, they are so respectable and yet make some truly unique calls and selections that are right on the money. like nominating my small college (eckerd) for an award for top 5 wired schools
