Another Happy New Year to all of our faithful readers. As we move into 2016 there will be some major changes at NYCTaper as we become involved in the minority ownership of a renewed venue, the Market Hotel. We can continue to promise the same degree of archival work, but with an added extra — we’ll be documenting as much as we can from one particular venue which may also come to include regular streaming of shows. Its an exciting time here and a ride upon which we hope you’ll join us!

You should definitely contemplate doing one of the DIIV shows in March; they are altogether primal in a live setting. Plus, those shows should be in your wheelhouse because they’re at Market Hotel.
By the way, your recordings of Luna and Yo La Tengo from the fall sound utterly fabulous. Thank you so much for your efforts in spreading the music!
