There are a few changes since the last update. We have added Oakley Hall and Oneida events, and removed Pat McGee and Bob Mould. We are attending Springsteen at Nassau on Monday in replacement for McGee, but won’t be posting a recording. Bob Mould’s management sent us a nice email reply that unfortunately Bob does not permit taping.

nyctaper One Year Anniversary:
May 11, 2008 marks the one year anniversary of the establishment of the nyctaper blog. We are in the early stages of planning an event. We would like to present a concert with several bands who have been featured on this blog and who permit recording. We would also like to present this concert at one of the many venues we have recorded this past year.
If you are a band who would like to perform at this event, please contact nyctaper, or if you would like to offer any assistance or suggestions, please let us know. We have not promoted a concert in nearly 12 years, and we are admittedly quite a bit out of the loop.

We continue to receive offers of sponsorship (tickets/guest list) from artists and readers who would enjoy our work. Thank you to those artists and readers.
Feel free to email nyctaper if you’d like to make suggestion, ask a question, enter a complaint, introduce us to new music, encourage us, or even make a donation. We enjoy the interaction with our readers.
