We were pointed to the WFMU website by our intrepid correspondent for the news that WFMU will broadcast the Sonic Youth July 4th set from Battery Park.
5 Responses to More on July 4th – WFMU to Broadcast Sonic Youth
Just to update: our intrepid reporter recorded the Feelies, but not Sonic Youth because of this broadcast. nyctaper will have a detailed report, the Feelies recording, some photos, and hopefully a link to an FM recording of the Sonic Youth set (its streaming now on WFMU) by Sunday night.
Annoyingly, your intrepid reporter’s AudioHijack recording of Sonic Youth had dropouts, and WFMU doesn’t look to be archiving the broadcast, so I’ll be on the lookout for that link…
longtime media-only trader would seek a clear copy of the radio bcst if anyone can ACTUALLY GET WFMU on their radio…here in Manhattan its just too crackly to listen to
