Sharon Van Etten and Natureboy at Union Pool on Saturday (Nov 7)

Its been far too long since we last saw the amazing Sharon Van Etten perform live. Our readers will remember that she absolutely awed the packed upstairs room at Cake Shop for our 2008 CMJ show. Sharon has been riding a wave of success since the Spring release of her debut album Because I Was in Love, and has been touring around the world with the likes of Kyp Malone, Beirut and Great Lake Swimmers. On Saturday night (Nov 7), she will headline Union Pool for a show presented by the excellent website Kevchino. Also on the bill is a performer who we have been meaning to see for quite some time, the singer-songwriter Sara Kermanshahi who performs under the moniker Natureboy.
