Some really nice additions, blah blah blah. This is an ideal list. Some of these events won’t be recorded by us because, well, life happens.
If you want nyctaper to record your band, a band you represent, a show you’re promoting, or even your favorite band in the world, get me on the list and make sure everyone who needs to approve of the recording gives permission. Also, remember I’m doing this all for free — the recordings, the post-production, the reviews, the links, etc. — so treat me fairly.

PLEASE tell me you recorded last night’s Animal Collective show at Terminal 5!!!!!
There was someone from this site there to record but he was stopped at the door and made to check his equipment.
did you guys get permission to tape the bjork
bookstore thing?
Grant Hart?!!! I’m keeping my fingers crossed that you get permission. I haven’t seen his name anyplace in years. Saw him perform at the Liquid Lounge in Seattle (upstairs at the Experience Music Project) in 2001 or 2002.
can’t wait to hear the Grizzly Bear MHOW show again!
Sorry you won’t be hearing any nyctaper recording of Grizzly Bear now, or ever for that matter.
When they asked me not to record BAM, there was a statement that I would be able to tape one of the Spring shows and indeed an email apology from Ed about the BAM situation.
Apparently they have short memories or are just too big now for a small site like this one — multiple emails regarding permission(with cc’s) were never answered by either Ed, or Grizzly Bear management.
THANK YOU for everything you’ve done….it is greatly appreciated by many people.
I hope you got the Meat Puppets show on June 12! Please let me know.
We have a recording of June 11, actually, and it will be up on the site tonight.
